Privacy Policy

I.What stays on your device

• Everything you log: your medication name, dose and schedule as you entered them, doses and injection sites, any taper plan, meals, water, weight, side effects, strength sessions and your targets. It is stored inside the app on your iPhone and is included in your own iCloud or computer backup.
• Photos: meal and progress photos you add are stored inside the app on your iPhone.
• Reports and exports: the doctor report and the data export are made on your iPhone. They go only where you choose to send them.
• Reminders: dose and habit reminders are scheduled on your iPhone. No reminder passes through our servers.
• No account: there is no sign-up, no profile and no copy of your log on our servers. We cannot see what you log.

II.Apple Health

If you connect Apple Health, KeepDose reads your weight, lean body mass and body fat percentage, and saves the weight, protein, fiber, water and strength sessions you log. Apple Health data is used only to show your own progress inside the app. It is never sent to us, never used for advertising or marketing, and never shared. Copies of data read from Apple Health are kept out of your device backup. You can disconnect in Settings or in the Health app at any time.

III.What leaves your device

• Food lookups: when you search the online food database or scan a barcode, only the words you typed or the barcode number are sent to Open Food Facts to find the food. Nothing else about you is sent with them.
• Subscription status: if you subscribe, RevenueCat and Apple process your purchase and tell the app whether Premium is active, using an anonymous app identifier. We never see your card or your name.
• Usage data, only if you choose it: if you tap "Share anonymous usage data", Firebase Analytics records which screens are opened and Firebase Crashlytics sends crash reports. Neither ever includes what you log. It is off unless you turn it on, and you can turn it off in Settings, Your data.
• The launch list (website): if you leave your email on keepdose.com, we keep it with Cloudflare only to write to you once when KeepDose is in the App Store. Then we delete it.

IV.What we don't do

• No advertising, and no sale or rental of personal data.
• No tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
• No sending of your doses, meals, symptoms or photos to us or to anyone else.
• No use of Apple Health data for anything but showing you your own progress.

V.Who else handles data

Only the services named above, acting on our instructions: Apple (the App Store, Apple Health and your backups, under Apple's own policy), RevenueCat (subscription status), Open Food Facts (food lookups you start), Google Firebase (usage data and crash reports, only if you opt in), and Cloudflare (the website and its launch list). We disclose data to authorities only where the law requires it.

VI.Keeping and deleting

To delete everything KeepDose holds on your iPhone, open Settings, Your data, Erase everything. Deleting the app also deletes it; a copy may remain in an older device backup until that backup is replaced. Usage data you chose to share is kept by Google under its retention settings and is not linked to your log. Launch-list addresses are deleted after the one launch email, or sooner if you ask.

VII.Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask to see, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold, and object to its use. Residents of the EU, the UK and California have these rights by law. Write to us and we will answer within 30 days.

VIII.Children

KeepDose is made for adults taking a prescribed medication and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

IX.Changes and contact
